Coaching en lesson

Anton very rarely teaches face-to-face classes, so you cannot approach him personally here. It is, however, possible to book online video courses from him. In it, he shows how he works on his own pieces and how he keeps himself fit on his instrument.

Collaborations

This versatile guitarist is best known as the founder and composer of the Ploctones, as artistic director of the National Youth Jazz Orchestra and for his contribution to collaborations with Eric Vloeimans, Benjamin Herman, New Cool Collective, Estafest, the Peter Beets Trio, Einzelgänger and the New Rotterdam Jazz Orchestra.

Anton has also collaborated with The Bad Plus, John Zorn, Tony Allen, Los Papines, Roy Hargrove, Jan Akkerman, Louis van Dijk, Eric Vaarzon Morel, Stochelo Rosenberg, Andreas Schaerer, Han Bennink and Ernst Reijseger and played with just about everyone around him.

On stage

Goudsmit has toured all over the world, performing at rock festivals like Fuji Rock and Sziget, at international jazz festivals and countless times at our own North Sea Jazz Festival, Lowlands, Mañana Mañana and Zwarte Cross. He has also been heard at renowned venues such as Blue Note Tokyo, Yoshi’s in the US, the Blue Frog in Mumbai and back home in Amsterdam at venues such as Paradiso, the Melkweg, the Concertgebouw and the familiar Bimhuis
