A jazz trio, but different. Brazilian drummer Maria Portugal and saxophonist Paul van Kemenade met at the ‘Roccella Jonica Jazz Festival’, where they performed a completely improvised set together. It was so overwhelming that Van Kemenade invited her to come and play with him on his record. The combination of drums, saxophone and keys gives this trio a sound all of its own.
